NUSZ, GEORGE PETER (1855-1920)
Mr. George Peter Nusz was born in Russia in the year of 1855. In 1866, he was married to Miss Mary Wolf. In 1887, he came to America and then to Marion, Kansas and then (1894) he came to Oklahoma and homesteaded a farm near Okeene, where he was in business. Mr. Nusz was an upright man and he lived a true Christian life for 40 years. No man could find any wrong faults with him. Mr. Nusz was failing in health for several years, but suffered untold agony, for nearly seven weeks. Mr. Nusz died April 15th, 1920. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, six boys, six girls, 50 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends. The remains were laid to rest in Shaffers Cemetery, southeast of town.
