OBITUARY - EVA NUSZ - OKEENE - Funeral Services for Eva Nusz, 83, who died Friday in an Okeene Hospital, will be at 2:30 p.m.. Sunday, at St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. John Williams officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Sisson Funeral Home. Mrs. Nusz was born in Oberdorf, Russia, August 5, 1897, to John and Mary Rusch and came to the United States in 1909. She married Carl Nusz in Okeene in May 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Albert (Edna) Schnell, Mrs. Alice Irion, and Mrs. Jim (Olinda) McBride, all of Okeene, and Mrs. Leonard (Lena) Osmus, Enid; three sons, Raymond and Jim of Okeene and Roy, Oklahoma City; six sisters; five brothers; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The casket will be open before the service. Memorials may be made to the Donnie Rauh Memorial Firemen's Foundation or St. John's United Church of Christ with the funeral home acting as custodian. Bearers were Mark Osmus, Darrell Schnell, Bob Nusz, Tom Irion, Stanley Nusz and Steven Nusz, with music by John and Cherilyn Williams (duet) and Paula Laubach, pianist.
