NUSZ, EDWARD 1898-1968

EDWARD NUSZ SERVICES FRIDAY - Okeene - Funeral services for Edward Nusz, 69, who died Tuesday in an Okeene hospital, will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Baptist Church, Okeene, with Rev. Karl Bieber officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene, under the direction of the Keller-Landes Funeral Home of Okeene. He was born in Okeene and lived his entire life there. Survivors include his widow, Olive, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Elton (Betty) Smith of Hardesty and Mrs. Donald (Naomi) Singer of Liberal, Kan.; one son, Wayne of Montezuma, Kan.; three brothers, Adam, Fred, and Albert, all of Okeene; one sister, Mrs. Ray (Ruby) Winter, Enid; and seven grandchildren. ED NUSZ FUNERAL IS HELD FRIDAY

Edward Nusz died at the Okeene hospital Tuesday of last week. He was born in Okeene and had lived his entire life here. Services were Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Walter Weber, Mr. and Mrs. Elmeer Fisher furnished music with Rev. Karl Bieber officiating. Bearers were David Fox, Richard Nusz, Willie Borth, Reuben Weber, Ralph Schultz and Raymond Nusz. Edward, son of Henry and Katherine Nusz was born June 11, 1898. He was 69, 7 months and 19 days at the tiime of his death. He was married to Olive Birdsall, August 22, 1924, in Watonga. Survivors are his wife of the home; two daughters, Betty, Mrs. Elton Smith, Hardesty; Maomi, Mrs. Donald Singer, Liberal, Kans.; a son, Wayne, Montezuma, Kans.; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Adam, Fred and Albert, all of Okeene; a sister, Mrs. Ray (Ruby) Winters of Enid.
