NUSS, DAVID 1873-1962
David Nuss, 88, longtime resident of the Wilson Community, died Thursday afternoon in the Ellsworth Hospital where he had been a patient since his hp was broken in a fall three days ago. He was born September 30, 1873, in Russia and came to Kansas in 1887. A retired farmer, he lived at the Good Samaritan Home, Ellsworth, the past three years. He was a member of the Wilson Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons: Ezra, of Wilson, Kansas, and Herman and Ruben, both of Dorrance, Kansas; two daughters: Mrs. Anna Stroh, of Wilson, Kansas and Mrs. Clara B. Miller, of Lyons, Kansas. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Wilson Baptist Church, the Rev. John Kajr officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stiles Mortuary, Wilson, Kansas. As printed June 1, 1962.
