MRS. J. W. NUSS DEAD - Funeral Monday for Hoisington Woman Who Died Yesterday. The deaht of Mrs. J.W. Nuss, 58, mother of Lester E. and Melvin O Nuss, and sister of Mrs. Ben Hergert, all of Great Bend, occured yesterday afternoon at the Atkin hospital in Hoisington, Kansas. She had been in ill health several years. Mrs. Nuss was born near Milberger and spent practically all her life in that community and the Hoisington community. Besides the Great Bend relatives, other relatives include her husban, a son, Vernon L. Nuss, who is attending school at Lawrence, Kansas ; a sister : Mrs. Peter L. Ochs of Hoisington, Kansas ; a half sister, Mrs. Carl Bitter of Hoisington, Kansas ; four half brothers : Fred Resner of Russell, Kansas ; Sam L. Morgenstern of Fairplay, Colorado ; and Emmanuel Morgenstern of Russell, Kansas. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Emmanus Lutheran Church on West Fifth Street, Hoisington, Kansas conducted by the Rev. M. L. Heerboth and assisted by Rev. C. Zehnder. Burial will be in the Hoisington Cemetery, Hoisington, Kansas. The body was taken to Childs Funeral Home and will be taken to the residence, 450 West Fifth Street in Hoisington, Sunday.
