Bertha L. (Nusz) News, 73, former Okeene resident, died Friday in a hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Sisson Funeral Chapel in Okeene with Pastor Bennett Peters officiating. Burial will be in the Peaceful Cemetery under the direction of Sisson Funeral Home. She is survived by one brother, Leslie, of Oildale, California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Dorothy Laubach and Virgil Nusz of Okeene, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters. She was born January 16th, 1909 in Okeene to George and Mollie Nusz. She graduated from Okeene High School in 1926. She was a governess.
