HILLSBORO, KANSAS - Anna (Matz) Nuss, 99, died October 24, 1993 at the Bethesda Home, Goessel, Kansas. She was born May 17,1894 in Marion County, Kansas, the daughter of Fredrich and Caroline (Schultz) Matz. A lifetime resident of the Hillsboro, Kansas area, she was a homemaker. In November 1919, she married Charlie Nuss at Marion County, Kansas. He died in 1940. Survivors include: two sons, Allen and Leland, both of Newton, Kansas; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, Kansas, with the Rev. John Ryding presiding. Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hillsboro Memorial Chapel, Hillsboro, Kansas. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
