NUSZ, ADAM 1889-1969
Last rites for Adam Nusz 79, were Sunday afternoon, at 3:00 o'clock in the United Methodist Church. Rev. Neal Baumwart was the officiating minister with music by Mrs. Donald Krause, organist, and Mrs. Emil Weber, soloist. Bearers were Isaac Nusz, Richard Nusz, Willie Borth, Wayne Nusz, Jmes Nusz, and Raymond Nusz. Keller & Landes Funeral Home had charge of arrangements with interment in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Nusz was born October 15, 1889 at Marion County, Kansas and died February 21, 1969 at Okeene Municipal Hospital. He came to Oklahoma in 1895 at the age of six years and settled near Hitchcock. Later he moved to the Okeene community where he lived the rest of his life. He married Elizabeth Dell of Fairview on April 22, 1911 at Fairview. They settled on a farm where he lived until he retired and moved to Okeene six years ago. To this union were born 4 children, three sons: Alfred & Henry, of Okeene; Louis of Cassville, Missouri and Louise (Mrs. Joe Masonhall) Okeene. Survivors other than his wife and children include seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother Albert, Okeene; a sister, Ruby, Mrs. Ray Winters, Enid.
