MADDUX, MAYNARD LEE 1930-2002
Graveside service for Maynard Lee Maddux, 71, will be at Good Hope Cemetery south of Helena on Saturday, April 23, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Rae Noah officiating. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at 10L00 a.m. at Olinger Moore Howard Berkeley Park Chapel in Denver, Colorado. Oklahoma arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home of Helena. Maynard was born November 24, 1930 in Cambridge, Kansas and died in Littleton, Colorado on March 12, 2002. He received his college education at Bethany Nazarene College obtaining his Masters Degree to become a Reading Specialist. He was employed by Denver Public Schools. In 1952 he and Willeta Shephard were married at Bethany. He served in the U.S. Air Force and belonged to the V.F.W., was a Boy Scout leader and a tutor. Survivors include his wife, Willeta Maddux of Pine Junction, Colorado; one daughter, Lynthria Boss of Elizabeth, Colorado; one brothers, Howard Maddux of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Marilyn Maddux of Garden City, Kansas; five grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
