MEIER, FREDDY LEO 1946-2002
Freddy Leo Meier was born January 13th, 1946 at Watonga, Oklahoma to Leo and Ola Meier, and passed away Thursday, July 11th, 2002 at the age of 56. He was a resident of the Watonga community for seventeen years where he was a commodity broker, and a Pioneer Satellite retail dealer. He graduated from Okeene High School and Oklahoma State University with a degree in Political Science. He also spent three years in the Army JAG Office. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Mae Meier. He is survived by one son, George Meier of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Robert Meier of Okeene, Oklahoma; one sister, Peggy Sullivan and husband Don of Independence, Kansas; his father, Leo Meier of Okeene, Oklahoma; three nephews, Matt Meier, Daniel Meier, and Tyler Sullivan; two nieces, Staci Howe and Dana Sullivan; three great nephews and two great nieces, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Freddy Meier were held on Saturday, July 14th, 2002 at the Assembly of God Church in Okeene, Oklahoma with Rev. Earl Eskue officiating. Burial followed in the Cherryvale Cemetery in Southard, Oklahoma with Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene in charge of arrangements.
