IN MEMORY OF REV. CURTIS MOSHER 1909-1981
Funeral services for the Rev. Curtis Mosher, 72, Ringwood, Oklahoma, who died in an Enid, Oklahoma hospital Saturday, Juy 18th, 1981, were held Tuesday July 21st, 1981 in the First Baptist Church in Ringwood, Oklahoma with the Rev. Dean Goodfellow officiating. Burial was in Forrest Cemetery west of Ringwood, Oklahoma under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home of Enid, Oklahoma. He was born July 2nd, 1909 on a farm east of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Following his graduation from Cleo Springs High School he attended NWOSU at Alva, Oklahoma. He married the former Jeanne Goodfellow at Taloga, Oklahoma on April 10th, 1940. Mosher worked in the U.S. Corps of Engineers and later served in the U.S. Army in the European theater of operations during World War II. He was a retired Southern Baptist minister who served pastorates in Canton, Wakita, and the Scott Baptist Church in Caddo County, Oklahoma. He also served in Caldwell, Kansas and the churches in Laveen and Talleson, Arizona. Following his retirement in 1974, he worked at the Helena State School as a youth guidance specialist. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ringwood, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne of the home; a son, Curtis Max Mosher of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter, Vicki Hess of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandchildren; one brother: Allen Mosher of Cottonwood, California; and two sisters, Artice McGinley of El Reno, Oklahoma and Bernice Anderson of Ringwood, Oklahoma. Contributions in his name may be made to the parking lot fund of the First Baptist Church in Ringwood. Henninger-Allen Funeral Home will serve as custodian of the fund.
