OKEENE - Sarah Lorenz, 89, died Sunday in Okeene, Oklahoma. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Mennonite Brethren Church there with Bennett Peters and Elmer Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at the Lorenz Cemetery, near Loyal, Oklahoma, directed by Wilkinson Funeral Home, Okeene. She was born February 10th, 1897 near Hithcock to Peter J. and Katherine (Geis) Lorenz and had lived in the Okeene area most of her life. She was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. Survivors include: a brother, William Lorenz of Okeene, Oklahoma; and two sisters: Emma Meissinger of Gotebo, Oklahoma, and Clara Lorenz of Okeene, Oklahoma.
