Funeral services for Rosa Irene Lorenz, 88, who died Saturday, July 14th, 1990, was held Wednesday, July 18th, 1990 at 1 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Okeene, Oklahoma. Dan Jensen and Alvin Blehm officiated. Burial followed in the East Cooper Cemetery in Hitchcock, Oklahoma under the directon of Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene. Rosa was born October 4, 1901, at Hitchcock to George and Julia Marie Roth Klein. She attended East Cooper School. On January 18th, 1921, she married William Sherman Lorenz at Enid, Oklahoma. She ad been a resident of the Okeene Communities since her marriage. Rosa was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Okeene. Survivors include her husband, Bill; a son, Billy George (B. G.) of Okeene, Oklahoma; a sister, LaVerne White of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a daugter.
