Harold Lipps, son of Mr. And Mrs. Fred Lipps, of Marion, formerly of Hillsboro, was driving a truck on a winding road near Galena, Missouri Saturday morning, when for some reason, he lost control of his truck on a curve and it overturned into a ditch, causing his death. Mr. Lipps had gone to Galena last March to work for the Inland Construction Company. Mr. Lipps was 24 years old and married Mildrend Henninger of Tampa in 1936. They are the parents of one daughter. Mrs. Lipps is now living in Tampa, Florida. The body was returned to Marion where funeral services were held in the Lutheran Evangelical Church, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. R. A. Miller.
