Harvey Laubach passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper after a brief illness. Age 88 years. Harvey Denver Laubach was born July 8, 1913 in Deep Creek Township, Oklahoma, the son of the late Henry and Mollie Laubach. He married Jane Carey August 27, 1935 in Enid, Oklahoma. She survives him. He worked for General Motors for 32 years, retiring in 1973. Harvey was a life member of Pioneer Lodge #79 F. & A.M. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, M. Sue Barnes and her husband, John, Bridgeport; a son, Loren R. Laubach, Florence, Kentucky; four grandchildren; three great-grandsons; a sister, Velma Lewis, Tulsa,
Oklahoma; a brother, Donald Laubach, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Harvey was also predeceased by three brothers. Funeral services took place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2001 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Walter David officiated with entombment in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum.
