LAUBACH, ELMA T. (VOGT) 1910-1998
OKEENE - The funeral for Elma T. Laubach, 88, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene, Oklahoma under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary. She was born March 24th, 1910, at Okeene to Louis Fred and Martha Louise (Geis) Vogt and died Monday, April 6, 1998, at Edmond, Oklahoma. On November 24, 1927, she married Herman Frank Laubach in Okeene. She was a resident of the Okeene community for 84 years. She has lived at the Cooper Lake Retirement Village in Edmond for the past four years to be near her son. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church, where she was active as the secretary clerk, a Sunday School Teacher and a Vacation Bible School worker. She was also a member of the Sunshine Home Demonstration Club, the Embroidery Club and was a volunteer at the nursing home. She is survived by a son, Dale Laubach of Edmond; two sisters, Hilda Dumler of Norman, Oklahoma, Estella Wehrenbery of Wichita, Kansas; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, one son, one daughter, and her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Baptist Church Building fund.
