LAUBACH, EUGENE "GENE" CARL 1937-1989
Funeral services for Eugene (Gene) Carl Laubach, 52, was held Monday, September 11, 1989 at 9 a.m. at the Jacob Schoen & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in New Orleans, Louisiana with the Rev. Richard Nelson officiating. Burial was in the Lake Lawn Cemetery in Metairie, Louisiana. Laubach was born April 29th, 1937 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Herbert and Ruby (Laubach) Laubach. He attended Deep Creek School and Okeene High School, where he graduated in 1955. He then attended Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. He and his wife, Gail (Thompson) resided in New Orleans prior to living in Oklahoma City, Irving, Texas, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Houston, Texas. Laubach is survived by his wife, Gail, of the home; a son: Joseph K. Laubach I of Morreror, Louisiana; two daughters: Christy Lodrigues and Kimberly Laubach, both of Gretna, Louisiana; three sisters: Neoma Vanzant of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Norita Adam of Okeene, Oklahoma; and Nadine Benham of Dallas, Texas; three brothers: Virgil Laubach of Torrington, Wyoming; Donald Wahl of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Harold Laubach of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and two grandchildren, Joseph K. Laubach II and Rachel Laubach, both of Morrero, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mrs. Irvin (Norma) Hill.
