LAMLE, CLARENCE EDWARD 1907-1986
OKEENE - Funeral services for Clarence Edward Lamle, 78, who died Wednesday, February 5th, 1986, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 8th, 1986, in the Christian Church in Okeene, Oklahoma with the Rev. Carl Tinnea and Rev. Earle Metcalf officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery at Okeene, Oklahoma under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene, Oklahoma. He was born September 12th, 1907 at Okeene, Oklahoma to Gottlieb and Mollie (Laubach) Lamle. He lived and farmed in the Okeene community all his life. He and his three sons were named Wheat Kings. He also did cattle hauling. He married Marie Metzler at Enid, May 22nd, 1929. She preceded him in death in 1990. He married Elsi Kusch Nault, May 18th, 1981, at Wellington, Kansas. Survivors include his wife, Elsie of the home; three sons: Roland, Norman, and Jerry, all of Okeene; one daughter, LaVeta Lee of Ames, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Georgia Taylor of Florida; one brother: Harry Lamle of Arkansas; three sisters: Cora Dehn of Okeene, Oklahoma; Frances Lamle and Florence Bradley, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
