KOPF, VIRGIL RILEY 1928-1977
Service for Virgil Riley Kopf, 49, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Enid, First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery at Okeene, Oklahoma. Kopf died Saturday in Enid following an apparent heart attack. He and his wife were in a one-car automobile accident and Mrs. Kopf remains in an Enid Hospital. Kopf was born in Homestead where he was raised. On July 14, 1948, he married Waunita Nusz. He operated several businesses in Oklahoma and at the time of his death was associated with Northwestern Housing Industries of Enid. Kopf was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Waunita: 2 sons: Ronald of Skiatook and Virgil (Gene) of Kingsville, Texas; one grandson, his mother, Mrs. Irene Kopf of Okeene, Oklahoma; one brother: Henry of Longdale, Oklahoma; and one sister: Mrs. Clyde (Elsie) Floyd of Glen Burnie, Maryland.
