RUSSELL - Pauline Krug, 102, died November 5th, 1990 at the Andover Health Care Center, Andover, Kansas. She was born August 10th, 1888 in Barton County, Kansas, the daughter of Frederick and Katherina (Siegfried) Nuss. A lifetime resident of the Russell area, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Russell, Kansas. On February 20th, 1910, she married Frederick Krug in Barton County. He died July 12th, 1971. Survivors include: one son, Arthur of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter, Elma Smith of Haysville, Kansas; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Russell, Kansas with the Rev. Michael Kerr presiding. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell. Burial will be in the Russell City Cemetery, Russell.
