OKEENE - The funeral for Lizzie Jantzen, 89, who died Saturday at Okeene, Oklahoma, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Roberta Ganzer officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene, Oklahoma, under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene, Oklahoma. She was born April 29, 1901 near Omega, Oklahoma to Frederick and Marie (Nusz) Haffner. She cam to Okeene as a small child and attended a country school east of Okeene. She married David J. Jantzen on July 18, 1920 at Okeene, Blaine County Oklahoma. She was a homemaker. She also was a member of the St. John's United Churc of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister, and two grandsons. Surviving are one daughter, Mary Helen Osmus of Hitchcock, Oklahoma ; one sister, Hannah Stricker of Okeene, Oklahoma; Four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Church or Okeene Hospital.
