HIEBERT, RACHEL ALICE (NUSZ) 1899-1983
Services for Rachel Alice Hiebert, 83, 1625 E. Cherokee, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. D. D. Cordell officiating. Mrs. Hiebert will be buried in Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born March 17, 1899, at Isabella, the daughter of George Peter and Mary Katharina Nusz, and died Wednesday in her home. She and Elmer Dusbabeck were married in 1915. They were the parents of a daughter. Her Husband preceded her in death. In 1926, she and Henry Hiebert were married. They made their home on a farm near Hitchcock. Hiebert preceded his wife in death. Mrs. Hiebert was a member of the Church of God and the WCTU. She is survived by four sons: Herman of Wichita, Kansas; Raymond, of Sheldon, Missouri; Victor of Enid, Oklahoma; James of Buckeye, Arizona; three daughters: Mrs. Jack (Velma) Bernard; Mrs. Vernen (Ruth) Schaffer, and Mrs. Robert (Henrietta) Fleshman, all of Enid; a sister, Hannah Weber; a brother, Sam Nusz, both of Okeene; 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a granddaughter, and a great-great-grandson. As printed in the "ENID DAILY EAGLE", January 9, 1983, Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma.
