HAMM, LEAH (SCHUBER) 1901-1992
DURHAM - Leah Schuber Hamm, 91, died April 29,1992, at the Salem Home, Hillsboro, Kansas. She was born April 5, 1901, in Blaine County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Adam and Barbel Kraft Schuber. A lifetime Durham area resident, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Durham Baptist Church, Durham, Kansas. On July 27, 1921 she married William Hamm at Abilene, Texas. He died in 1973. Survivors include: two sons, Gaylord and Gustav, both of Tampa, Kansas; two daughters: Arlene Pankratz of Durham, Kansas and Marcella Mohn of Hillsboro, Kansas; a sister: Freida Riffel of Lodi, California; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Durham Baptist Church, with the Rev. Lloyd Harsch presiding. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hillsboro Memorial Chapel, Hillsboro, Kansas. Burial will be in the Durham Park Cemetery, rural Durham, Kansas. Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the funeral home
