The funeral for Katie Hoffman, 92, who died Sunday in an Okeene, Oklahoma hospital will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Richard O'Donnell officiating. Mrs. Hoffman will be buried in the Beirig Cemetery, Okeene, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sisson Funeral Home of Okeene. Mrs. Hoffman was born August 20th, 1891 in the Colony Baure, Russia, the daughter of Johannas and Anna (Rupple) Beirig. She and Andrew Hoffman were married April 30th, 1911 at Okeene, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hoffman was a longtime resident of the Okeene community. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, October 25th, 1978, and by an infant daughter. Survivors are four daughters: Esther Nusz of Canton, Oklahoma; Agnes Morgan of San Francisco, California; Elsie Klouse of Saginaw, Michigan; Gladys Hill of Wichita Falls, Texas; three sons: Harvey Hoffman of Okeene, Oklahoma, Clarence Hoffman of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Harold Hoffman of Ringwood, Oklahoma; a brother, John Beirig of Okeene, Oklahoma; three sisters: Esther Hientz of Enid, Oklahoma; Bertha Scheffe of Lahoma, Oklahoma; and Marie Greg of Okeene, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
