Hansen, Hazel May (Taylor) 1918-2002
Hazel May Hansen was born July 26th, 1918 at Choctaw, Oklahoma to William T. and Rosie Taylor and passed away Tuesday, September 24th, 2002 at the age of 84. She was a resident of the Hitchcock, Oklahoma community for 61 years where she was a homemaker. She attended Choctaw High School and attended Southwestern Jr. College in Keene, Texas. She was a member of the Okeene Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was married to Orlando Hansen at Okeene, Oklahoma on January 17th, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orlando; one sister and six brothers. She is survived by one son Charles Hansen of Lincoln, Nebraska; two daughters: Martha Rose Cash of Lincoln, Nebraska and Rebekah Haney of Hitchcock, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Hazel Hansen were held Friday, September 27th, 2002 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Okeene, Oklahoma with Pastor's Scott Baker and Henry Reid officiating. Burial followed in the Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery in Omega, Oklahoma with Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene in charge of arrangements.
