HAFFNER, GEORGE 1856-1930
George Haffner, age 74, died at his home in Hitchcock, Blaine County, Oklahoma May 8th,1930. The immediate cause of death was determined to be Pneumonia. Mr. Haffner was born in Russia, January 19th, 1856. He was united in marriage with Ms. Katherine Becker in 1882. To this union eight children were born, six sons and two daughters. Two sons and one daughter preceded him in death. Mr. Haffner came to America in 1891, living first at Lehigh, Marion County, Kansas. In 1893, he moved to Omega, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. He was a good Christian. He is survived by his wife, four sons, one daughter, one brother, seven grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
