FUNERAL NOTICE - HEFFEL, EMANUEL 1915-1991
OKEENE - The funeral for Emanuel Heffel, 75, who died Friday at Okeene Hospital, will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Okeene Mennonite Bretheren Church with the Rev. Bennet Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary. He was born February 17, 1915 at Okeene to David and Mary Karbs Heffel. He attended Liberty High School. He lived in Okeene all his life and was a farmer and a rancher. He married Lavina Wiederman at Enid on June 1, 1939. He was a member of the Mennonite Bretheren Church. Surviving are his wife; one son, Ronald of Okeene; one daughter, Janet Darnell of Morris, Oklahoma; four brothers, William and Otto, both of Okeene, Oklahoma; Wesley of Hitchcock, Oklahoma and Harvey of Mangum, Oklahoma; one sister, Irene Reisdorf of Tucson, Arizona; and two grandchildren.
