HAFFNER, CONRAD C. 1875-1963
HAFFNER, Conrad C., was born March 18, 1875, in Russia, and passed away January 15, 1963, at Kingfisher, Oklahoma. He came to America with his parents when he was one year of age, and settled at Lehigh, Kansas. Later, the parents made "THE RUN" into Oklahoma Territory. Before long, the Cooper church was started and at the age of twenty Brother Haffner was baptized by Elder Conradi. He married Mollie Bernhardt in 1904. He was a farmer and retired at 72. The past eighteen years they lived in Cashion. Survivors include his wife, Mollie, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Leota Steinert, of La Sierra, California; one son, Edward, of Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Services were held in Guthrie, Oklahoma, by Elder M.W. Deming from Lincoln, Nebraska and "The Writer", with burial in the Cashion Cemetery. May the Lord add His Blessing to his memory, and in the resurrection day may this dear brother be raised to live throughout eternity with the blessed Lord whom he loved.
