FUNERAL NOTICE - HOFFMAN, ANDREW 1884-1978
Hoffman Services Held - Funeral services for Andrew Hoffman, 94, were held Saturday, October 28, 1978 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, Okeene. Hoffman died as a result of injuries received in a traffic accident Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1978, near Okeene. Reverend John Williams officiated at the service. Mrs. Harley Schlotthauer, organist, accompanied John and Cherilyn Williams in a duet. Bearers were Mr. Hoffman's grandsons. Landes-Sisson Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements with burial in the Bierig Cemetery. Andrew Hoffman was born in Diddle, Russia, July 9, 1884 and came to the United States at the age of seven. He had lived in the Okeene community since that time. Survivors include his wife, Katie; three sons, Harvey Hoffman of Okeene; Clarence Hoffman of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Harry Hoffman of Ringwood, Oklahoma; four daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Esther) Nusz, Canton, Mrs. Agnes Morgan, San Francisco, California, Mrs. Dave (Elsie) Klouse, Freeland, Mich. and Mrs. Ernest (Gladys) Hill, Wichita Falls, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Hannah Laubach, Saginaw, Mich., 18 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
