EHRLICH, PAUL L. 1916-2002
JUNCTION CITY - Paul L. Ehrlich, 85, died February 17, 2002 at the Geary Community Hospital, Junction City. He was born April 26, 1916, at Hoisington, the son of Emanuel and Leah (Nuss) Ehrlich. He went to elementary school in Ellinewood, obtained his high school GED, and had two years of college through Military Education courses. He worked in the U.S. Army as a Command Sergeant Major E-9, retiring in 1962, after 24-1/2 years, fighting in France and Germany during World War II. On September 18th, 1939, he married Viellen B. McFarland at Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: a brother, Clarence Ehrlich of Hutchinson, Kansas; three sisters, including: Rosie Ungles of Hutchinson, Kansas; and two-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel, Junction City, Kansas, with a military Chaplain presiding. There will be no visitations. Burial will be in Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, Kansas, with military honors conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
