OKEENE - McKinzie was born to Brad and Heather (Wheeler) Claussen on February 19, 1995 in Pratt, Kansas and died on Sunday, October 28, 2001 at the Okeene Hospital in Okeene, Oklahoma as the result of an accident having reached the age 6 years, 8 months, 9 days. McKinzie was raised in Custer City and Thomas, Oklahoma and attended Thomas Elementary School. Mrs. Crall was her First Grade teacher. She enjoyed Barbie dolls, her pets and time at her play ground (the farm). For Christmas last year she requested a large jar of giant dill pickles. McKinzie was born on her great-grandma Ida's 66th birthday. She is survived by her parents, Brad and Heather Claussen of Custer City, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Gwen Wheeler and Gaylen Winn of Fairview, Oklahoma; and Robert Wheeler of Freedom, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents Donnie and Glenda Claussen of Thomas, Oklahoma; maternal great-grandparents, Leon and Ida Howland of Freedom, Oklahoma; and Pearl Wheeler of Wellington, Kansas; paternal great-grandmother, Elouise Hamar of Thomas, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Marvin and Lorine Clausen, James Hamar, and Adam Wheeler.
