Mary Helen Becker was born August 8th, 1912 at Topeka, Kansas to Michael and Katherine (Schulmeister) Schmitt and passed away Sunday, December 15th, 2002 at the age of 90. She was a resident of the Okeene community most of her life where she was a homemaker. She attended Southard Schools and was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Okeene, Oklahoma. She was married to Lee Allen (Bus) Becker at Woodward, Oklahoma on January 8th, 1950. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Eddie, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Lee (Bus) Becker of the home; three sons; Ron Becker, Jay Lee Becker, and Roger Becker all of Okeene, Oklahoma; one daughter: Doris Koehn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister: Amelia Mealy of Denver, Colorado. A Rosary was held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th, 2002 at Wilkinson Mortuary in Okeene, Oklahoma. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18th, 2002 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Okeene, Oklahoma with Father David Cowden Celebrant. Burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery at Okeene, Blaine County, Oklahoma with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
