OKEENE - Service for Jerry D. "Buddy" Bisel, 65, who died Wednesday, April 15th, 1992, is at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church in Okeene with the Rev. Kevin Kellog officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene. Bisel was born August 16th, 1926, to Manuel and Hulda (Brickman) Bisel at Okeene, Oklahoma. He graduated from Okeene High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946, including duty in Okinawa. A lifelong resident of Okeene, he was a self-employed welder. He married Mildred Fielder in Okeene on December 25th, 1951. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Edna Bisel of Okeene, Oklahoma; two sons, Jim Bisel of Yukon, Oklahoma and Andy Bisel of Okeene, Oklahoma; three daughters, Jeri Bisel of Arlington, Texas, Susan Florer of Arcadia, Oklahoma, and Debbie Fox of Okeene, Oklahoma; two brothers: James W. Bisel of Ashland, Kansas, and Tom Bisel of St.Louis, Missouri; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
