BRICKMAN, EDWARD 1905-1985
ALVA - Services for Edward Brickman will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alva First Christian Church with Elder Dan Jensen, Pastor of the Alva 7th Day Adventist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, of the home; and four sisters: Mrs. Rachel Eichman of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Sam (Lillian) Skaggs of Alva, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lucille Siebenlist of Glendale, California, and Mrs. Issac (Alice) Meier of Hitchcock, Oklahoma. Contributions in his memory may be made to the 7th Day Adventist Church or the Heart Fund.

ALVA - Services for Edward (Ed) Brickman will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alva First Christian Church with Elder Dan Jensen, Pastor of the Alva 7th Day Adventist Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Alva Municipal Cemetery. Brickman was born June 19, 1905, southwest of Alva, to Katherine and Peter Brickman. He died Friday at an Oklahoma City hospital. He attended the McKeever rural grade school and Northwestern Normal High School. On December 7th, 1939 in Okeene, he married Sylvia Meier. The couple made their home on the farm where Brickman was born. In December of 1966 they moved to Alva. He farmed and ranched in Alfalfa and woods counties. He was a member of the Alva 7th Day Adventist Church, serving as a deacon and Sabbath School Superintendent. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, of the home; and four sisters: Mrs. Rachel Eichman of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Sam (Lillian) Skaggs of Alva, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lucille Siebenlist of Glendale, California, and Mrs. Issac (Alice) Meier of Hitchcock, Oklahoma. Contributions in his memory may be made to the 7th Day Adventist Church or the Heart Fund.
