The funeral service for Clara Brickman, 89, who died Saturday, October 8th, 1988 in the Okeene Hospital, was held Tuesday, October 11th, 1988 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Graves officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene, Blaine County, Oklahoma directed by Wilkinson Mortuary. Clara came to the Hitchcock and Okeene area at the age of four. On February 5th, 1917, she married Arne Brickman at Darrow. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens Club and Home Demonstration Club. Preceding her in death were her husband, an infant son, two infant daughters, and a great-great-granddaughter. Survivors include a son, Ralph; two daughters, Alice Reames and Hildegarde Carter, both of Okeene; a sister, Mae May of Rose Hill, Kansas; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
