Tampa, Kansas - Anna Beisel, 81, died March 4th, 1992 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born November 13th, 1910 in rural Durham, Kansas, the daughter of Ben and Anna (Unruh) Frantz. A lifetime resident of the Tampa area, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St.John's Lutheran Church of Tampa, Kansas. She married Fred Beisel at McPherson, Kansas. He died in 1976. Survivors include: two sons, Gene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Donald of Tampa, Kansas; six daughters: Margie Nienstedt of Marion, Kansas; Yvonna Cheney of Chandler, Arizona; Marilyn Smith of Rogers, Arkansas; Rosemary Deines of Harrington, Kansas; Carolyn Fizer of Salina, Kansas; and Kathy Kay Beisel, of the home; three brothers: Ben Frantz of Grainola, Oklahoma; John Frantz of Hillsboro, Kansas; and Irvin Frantz of Durham, Kansas; two sisters: Alice Frantz of Durham, Kansas; and Elsie Ratzloff of Newton, Kansas; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Tampa, Kansas, with the Rev. Richard Riemer presiding. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Hillsboro Memorial Chapel, Hillsboro, Kansas. Burial will be in the Tampa Lutheran Cemetery, Tampa, Kansas. Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the funeral home.
