ALBIN, SARAH ANN (HEATH) 1862-1925
Sarah Ann (Heath) Albin was born in Wisconsin April 23rd, 1862, moving from there to Vermont where they remained a short while before going to the state of Kansas at about age of 7. She was converted to the United Brethren Church during her early girlhood and lived a virtuous Christian life from that time. She was married in the year of 1884 to Robert Albin of Holton, Kansas and to this union were born seven children, five girls and two boys: Caroline Fairbanks of Onaga, Kansas; Ella Cordell of Watonga, Oklahoma; Henry Albin of Hartford, Kansas; Rachel Myers of Soldier, Kansas; and George Albin of Wanette, Oklahoma. One child died during infancy and one daughter, Naomi Hunt, died at Cransfill Gap, Texas in 1917. The family moved to Wanette, Oklahoma in 1903 and Robert Albin the husband and father passed away August 1915. The deceased was married to U. A. Albin of Sayre, Oklahoma in 1917, where she moved to make here home, living there until her death June 4, 1925. She was a member in good standing in both the Royal Neighbors of America and the Fraternal Aid of America. Mrs. Albin leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and his family, two brothers and one sister. The brothers live at Miltonville, Arkansas and Havensville, Kansas; and the sister at Soldier, Kansas besides a host of immediate relatives and friends. Sarah Ann's body was brought to Wanette, Oklahoma and laid beside her deceased husband.
