MCELROY

Arthur C. MCELROY, a resident of the Westville area from 1940 to 1973, died Sunday, December 16 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Leo M. HALL in Birmingham, Ala.
Survivors include his wife, Lena of Homewood, Ala.; one son, Gene MCELROY of boston, Mass.; two daughters, Gail MEADOWS of Clarksville, Tenn., and Arlene HALL of Homewood, Ala.; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

RUTLEDGE

Elijah (Bud) RUTLEDGE, 84, a resident of Westville Nursing Home, died Friday, December 21 at the nursing home.
RUTLEDGE, born July 26, 1895 in Indian Territory, is survived by his wife, Eveline of Westville; four daughters, Alma DICKEY, Holtville, Calif., Essie JACKSON, Bunch, Dixie HARLIN, Westville and Nellie RUTLEDGE, Stilwell; five sons, William, Stilwell, Buddy, El Paso, Texas, Frank, Mineral Wells, Texas, Troy and Roy of Stilwell Nursing Home; two sisters, Easter STRICKLAND, Errick and Ora HAMMANS, Why, Arizona (i.e.). Also 31 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, December 24 at Roberts Chapel with interment in Proctor Cemetery.

SANDERS

James Roy SANDERS, 71 year old Westville reisdent died Friday, December 21 in Muskogee General Hospital.
SANDERS born September 29, 1908 in Ada, is survived by his wife Lennie of the home; three sons, Garland of Tahlequah, Warren of Westville and Darrell of Spring Hill, Kansas; two daughters, Wanda KINDLE of Proctor and Margie Ann HAMMER of Lincoln; one brother, Bill of Stilwell; two sisters, Myrtle CRAIG of Tahlequah and Mettie KIRK of Drumright; and his step mother, Dora SANDERS of Westville. Also 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, December 23 at Roberts Chapel with the Rev. Jack STEELE officiating.
Interment was in Downing Cemetery at Baron.

BRANDENBURG

Crystal Dawn BRANDENBURG 10 1/2 months old, died December 24 at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald B. BRANDENBURG of Bellville, Ill.
She was born February 9, 1979 in Bellville.
Survivors, in addition to the parents, include one sister, Cheree Lynn; one brother, Brandy Jeremiah; maternal grandparetns, Mr. and Mrs. Jim WATKINS, Stilwell; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm STIERWALT, Martinsville, Ind.; and great grandmother, Mrs. Ellen STOCTON, Manteca, Calif.
Services were held Wednesday, December 26 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Bro. Jack STNALEY officiating.
Interment was in the Stilwell City Cemetery.

REED

Services for Mrs. Elizabeth E. REED, 85, were held Monday at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with the Rev. Marvin ECK of Siloam Springs, Ark., officiating.
Interment was in the Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ark.
Mrs. REED, born February 1, 1894, in Salem, Ark., died Friday at Tahlequah City Hospital.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Mrs. Fern KING of Green Valley, Arizona; two step-sons, Joe REED of Freemont, Ohio, and Mack REED of Grove; a sister, Vera BUSE of Tahlequah; two nieces and four nephews.

WEBSTER

Arthur Lee WEBSTER, 89, Siloam Springs, Ark., died Wednesday at Siloam Springs. Services were Friday.
Burial was in Bell Cemetery in Adair County.
He was born January 9, 1980, in Oklahoma, Indian Territory, and was a longtime Oklahoma resident until moving to Siloam Springs about 20 years ago. Prior to his retirement he was a timbe worker.
Pallbearers were great nephews.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.

SELLS

Bill SELLS, born January 14, 1897, to Peter and Celia SELLS in Mulberry, Ark., died December 16, 1979, at the age of 82 in Memorial Hospital.
Survivors are his wife, Zula of the home; four daughters, Louise and Sue of Los Angeles, Calif. Mary Jane DINUBA, Calif., and Betty of Sapulpa; three sons, Joe, Lemore, Calif., Jim, Portland, Ore., and Shelby, Sallisaw; two sisters, Martha STARKEY, Tulsa and Jewell DAVIS, Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Hoss and Clarence, Sallisaw; one step-daughter, Wyenna ROBBARDS, Portland, Ore.; 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery was under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

GIRDNER

L.B. GIRDNER, 52, a native of Adair County, died Thursday, December 27 in Tulsa.
GIRDNER, born August 7, 1927 at Bunch, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby GIRDNER of the home, 103 N. 25th West Avenue, Tulsa; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ledford GIRDNER, Tulsa; two sons, L.B. Daylton GIRDNER 11, Tulsa, and Monty ROBINS, Tahlequah; one daughter, Marie DAVIS, Tahlequah; two sisters, Wilma Jean BARNS, Sand Springs, and Marlene COGGINS, Tulsa; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Monday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with interment in the Bunch Cemetery.

Services for Robert Lee WOLFE, Jr., 29 who was killed January 1 in a traffic accident near Buffalo, Okla., were held January 5, in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Stilwell.
Bro. Andy GONZALIS officiated, and interment was in the Chuculate Cemetery.
Survivors include: his mother, Mrs. Sarah WESLEY, Stilwell; his stepfather, Leon WESLEY, Stilwell; his father, Robert Lee WOLFE, Stilwell; and six sisters, Linda FOURKILLER, Nina Beatrice WOLFE, and Cindy Lee WOLFE, all of Denver, Colo., Mamie MANUS, Tahlequah, and Sandra Jo HOGNER and Wanda Gail WOLFE, both of Stilwell.

URICH

Services for George L.R. URICH, 83, were held Sunday in Hart Memorial Chapel at Westville with the Rev. E.P. MATLOCK of Muldrow and Rev. James DANIELS officiating.
Interment was in the Foreman Cemetery.
URICH was born June 19, 1896, at Creighton, Neb., and died January 4, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was married to Billie Jane MARTIN on October 3, 1921, at Stilwell.
They had lived the past 42 years in Westville.
URICH was a W.W.11 veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1918 until 1921.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Marian of Peculiar, Mo., and N.A. (Shorty) URICH of Westville; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a niece.

KINDLE

Clyde Earnest KINDLE, 72, a Westville resident, died Monday, December 24 in Tulsa.
KINDLE, born April 22, 1907, in Climax Springs, Mo., is survived by his wife Rosa of Tulsa; one son, Ray of Tulsa; five daughters, Laverne HASTINGS, Shirley VAUGHTN and Viola CURTIS, all of Tulsa, Ilene WALTERS, Siloam Springs, Ark., and Susie REED, Cane Hill, Ark.; six sisters, Grace POSTOOK, Molly JACOBS, Tulsa, Myrl WATTS, Arvin, Calif., Virginia Lee WHITMIRE, Proctor, Violet WOOLRIDGE, Tulsa and Iva BOZARTH, Tahlequah; one brother, Sam GALYEAN of Westville; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services were held Friday, December 28 at Roberts Chapel with interment in Proctor Cemetery.

VANDERHEIDEN

Services were held Monday in Roberts Funeral Chapel in Stilwell for Herchel VANDERHEIDEN, 70, of Stilwell who died Friday in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital.
Bro. Lee KILLER officiated and interment was in Stilwell City Cemetery.
VANDERHEIDEN was born February 5, 1909 in Yoestown, Ark.
He was a retired construction worker.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys, of the home, two sons, Dave RHODES of Smithville, Miss., and Leroy VANDERHEIDEN of Columbus, Miss.; two daughters, Maxine MINOR of Reno, Nev., and Margie RHEAUME of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Jim VANDERHEIDEN of Bunch and Reuben VANDERHEIDEN of Nicut; six sisters, Exie LAWSON, Eagie WINKLER, Odessa BROWN, and Mae VANDERHEIDEN, all of Stilwell, Nellie DENNY of Bunch and Pauline BECK of Pinole, Calif.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

COCHRAN

Roger COCHRAN, 72, died January in Memorial Hospital, Stilwell.
COCHRAN, born August 10, 1907, in Stilwell, is survived by: three sons, Charley, Andy and J.D. COCHRAN, all of Stilwell; three daughters, Joan EAGLE, Tahlequah, Lizzie TEEHEE, Stilwell, and Sally TERRAPIN, Barber; one sister, Annie WEAVEL, Stilwell; and a half-sister, Betsy GONZALIS, also of Stilwell.
Services were held Monday in the Salem Baptist Church with interment in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home.

DAVIDSON

Mrs. Sam Dick STARR has received word of the death of her brother Robe DAVIDSON, who resided in Huntington, Oregon.

HILL

Elvin E. HILL, 67 year old pharmacist who has been employed at Chaffin Rexall in Stilwell on a part-time basis, died January 7 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa following a brief illness.
HILL, who filled in here when the regular pharmacist was on vacation or ill, had operated the Hill Drug Store in Jay until 1970 when he retired for health reasons.
He was born December 16, 1912, in Chetopa, Kansas, and lived in Vinita for several years before attending the Southwestern Pharmacy School in Weatherford.
He was a veteran of W.W.11.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred HILL of the home; two sons, Jim HILL, Fort Gibson, and Joe HILL, Braggs; one brother, Leonard HILL, Tulsa; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, January 10 in the United Methodist Church in Jay with the Rev. George PALMER officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Vinita.

WORLEY

Services for Clarence M. WORLEY, 72, formerly of Stilwell, who died December 24, were held December 27 at the Central Christian Church in Clovis, N.M.
Interment was in the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Worley, born September 10, 1907, at Wauhillau, was married to the former Lois HINES of Sallisaw in 1929. The family moved to Portales, N.M. in 1934 and to Clovis in 1968.
The founding president of Worley Mills in Texas and New Mexico, WORLEY was also president of the New Mexico Grain and Feed Association that he and several others organized in the 1930's.
He was also a member of the board of directors of the American Feed Manufacturers National Grain Dealers Association.
He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge and a supporter of all the trade organizations to which he belonged.
WORLEY was also on the board of regents of Eastern New Mexico University in Portales and was a member of Central Christian Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Lois, of the home; one son, Dick WORLEY of Clovis; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby MONTGOMERY of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Lela WARD of Clovis; one brother, Olan of Portales; one sister-in-law, Miss Willie Mae HINES of Sallisaw; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
The family requests contributions be made to Central Christian Campus House at Eastern New Mexico university in Portales.

MERIDITH

Lisa Michelle MERIDITH, 7, died Thursday, January 10 at her home following a long illness.
She was born February 24, 1972, in Stilwell.
Survivors include: her father, Gary MERIDITH of the home on Route 2 Stilwell; her mother, Mrs. Carole VINSON, Harrah; one brother, Dale Wayne VINSON, Harrah; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester MEREDITH.
Services were held Saturday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harvey HICKMAN officiating.
Interment was in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

WILSON

Mrs. Madge Floyetta WILSON, 74, a native of Stilwell, died Monday in Memorial Hospital, Stilwell.
Mrs. WILSON, born April 12, 1905, in Stilwell, is survived by: her husband, Claud WILSON of the home at 222 W. Cedar St., Stilwell; three sons, Alford WILSON, Independence, Mo., and Harvey and Calvin WILSON, both of Stilwell; six daughters, Lillian WILSON, Dorothy BARNES, Rosie O'NEAL, Alfie ROSETTO and Jeanne BUCKNER, all of Stilwell; two sisters, Callie CUMMINGS and Pauline HARRISON; and four brothers, Clyde, Columbus, John and Orville WINKLER.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kennith SHELBY officiating.
Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery.

BYRD

Mrs. Gladys Norene BYRD, 70, a resident of Stilwell, died Monday in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. BYRD, born December 5, 1909 in Oklahoma, made her home at 11 N. Fifth St., Stilwell.
Survivors include: one son, Carroll David BYRD, Ledyard, Conn.; three daughters, Betty HAYNES, Dangerfield, Texas, Joyce SIMMONS, Dallas, Texas, and Francine CAMDEN, Tahlequah; one sister, Mary BREED, Dallas; two brothers, Wilbur KIMBLE, Lakewood, Calif., and LaFrance OWENS, Shreveport, La.; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John BLACKWOOD officiating.
Interment will be in the Stilwell City Cemetery.

LONG

Mrs. Gertrude Caroline LONG, 88 year old Westville resident, died Friday, January 4, in Westville.
Mrs. LONG, born July 17, 1891 in Indian Territory, is survived by one daughter, Marley POSEY of Lincoln, Ark., five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, January 6 at Roberts Chapel with Rev. Uriah SMITH of Lincoln officiating.
Interment was in Sugar Hill Cemetery.

BAIRD

Earl Clinton (Shorty) BAIRD, 42 year old Westville man was found dead of a shotgun wound in his chest at his home last Thursday, January 10. Dan ABBOTT, sheriff, Rex Earl STARR, assistant district attorney and members of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation investigated.
They said that the wound was apparently self-inflicted.
The case, however, is still being investigated.
BAIRD, born June 19, 1937, in Oklahoma, is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Hazel BAIRD of the home; two sons, Jimmy Carl BAIRD, Stilwell, and Ricky PHIPPS of Westville; six daughters, Shelly and Deborah BAIRD, both of Stilwell, Bridget and Shelley Kay BAIRD, both of Westville, Tammy PHIPPS, Westville, and Connie BARNES, Watts; his mother, Mrs. Flora BAIRD, Stilwell; five brothers, Ed and James BAIRD, both of Stilwell, Johnny BAIRD, Westville, Curtis BAIRD, Asher, Okla., and Faye BAIRD, McGee, Miss.; four sisters, Gertrude MURPHY, Alice WOLFE, and Betty LONG, all of Stilwell, and Anna Sue VALIANCE, Fayetteville, Ark.; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Bro. Aaron BARTON officiating.
Interment was in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.

HOPKINS

Services for William Wayne HOPKINS, 75, an Adair County resident, were held Thursday, January 10 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with interment in the Stilwell City Cemetery. Hopkins, born April 20, 1904, in Stilwell, was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired carpenter. He died Sunday January 6 in the Veterans Hospital in Muskogee.

WATERS

Carl Edward (Poss) WATERS, 76, a lifetime resident of Stilwell, died Friday, January 11 at Memorial Hospital, Stilwell. WATERS, a retired salesman, was born July 24, 1903, in Stilwell.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Maudie WATERS of the home at 318 E. Walnut St., Stilwell; one son, John Edward WATERS, Tallahassee, Fla., and two daughters, Ruby Lee SOUZA, Turlock, Calif., and Carolyn HAND, League City, Texas.
Services were held Monday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Mr. Larry LANE officiating.
Interment was in the Stilwell City Cemetery.

DALE

Mrs. Dollie DALE, 99, died Monday in the Eufaula Municipal Hospital.
Mrs. DALE, born September 12, 1880 in North Carolina, is survived by: five sons, Joe DALE, Stilwell, Bud DALE, Tulsa, Joe DALE, (i.e.) Lester DALE, Waco, Texas, and Hughie DALE, Houston, Texas; and three daughters, Margaret KEETER, Stilwell, Mary Ann WILLIAMS, Checotah, and Callie MALLOY, Bend, Oregon.
Services were held Tuesday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. John ROMINE officiating.
Interment was in the Whitmire Cemetery.

MOORE

Mrs. Lena Viola MOORE, 78, a former resident of Stilwell, died January 7.
Mrs. MOORE, born October 10, 1901, taught school for more than 40 years before retiring. She was a member of the first Baptist Church in Stilwell.
Survivors include: two sisters, Alma VOGT, Stilwell, and Vivian RAINBOLT, Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Cecil WYLIE, Stilwell; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Earl MOORE. They were married in 1937 and he died in 1956.
Services were held in Wilburton with Bro. Harvey HICKMAN, Rush Springs Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment was in the Wilburton City Cemetery.

LANGLEY

Morgan J. LANGLEY, Jr., 59, a resident of Downey, Calif., died Tuesday, December 25 in the Naval Hospital in Long Beach, California. LANGLEY was born November 27, 1920 in Vinita.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen of Bremerton, Wash.; two step-sons; two granddaughters; one grandson, John GRIFFIN of McClellan Air Force Base, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Frances DAWSON, Yreka, Calif., Mrs. Lorraine PEPPER, Redding Calif., and Mrs. Betty KILLOUGH, Springdale, Ark.; and one brother, Bill LANGLEY of San Diego, Calif.
Graveside services were held Saturday, January 12 at Bell Cemetery with Rev. J.W. GLIDEWELL of Watts Baptist Church officiating.
Interment was under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

HARLAN

Kenneth E. HARLAN, 60, a resident of Albuquerque, N.M., died Sunday, January 6. HARLAN, born July 28, 1919 in Oklahoma, is survived by: his wife, Wanda of Farmington, N.M.; two daughters, Kendi KELLEY of Mt. Vernon, Ill., and Deanna HARLAN of Crossville, Ill.; one grandson, Damon KELLEY of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; one sister, Imogene HARLAN, Edmond, Okla.; and three brothers, Lloyd, Midland, Texas, John CRANE, Texas, and Ralph, Oklahoma City.
Services were held Friday, January 11 at Roberts Chapel in Westville with interment in Piney Cemetery.

FARRILL

Memorial services for Mrs. Grover C. (Clara) FARRILL, 84, were held Sunday in Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Muskogee with the Revs. Sam PINNELL, George WOODLIFF and Derrell MORROW officiating.
Interment was in Chalk Bluff Cemetery at Stilwell under direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Mrs. FARRILL, who died January 8 in Marmora, N.J., was born March 4, 1895, in Stilwell and had been a resident of Muskogee for more than 50 years.
She moved to New Jersey in 1978 and was a charter member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her husband died January 18, 1966.
Survivors include a son, Jack N. COLE of Marmora; a daughter, Melva BUSBY of Muskogee; a foster daughter, Joline WATSON of Coweta; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

BROWN

Services for Mrs. Leonia Mae BROWN, 30, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident, were held Saturday in the Chuculate Church with Bro. Lawrence EAGLE officiating.
Interment in the Chuculate Cemetery was under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home.
Mrs. BROWN, born October 28, 1949 at Bunch, is survived by: her husband, Paul BROWN of the home in the Salem Community; five sons, Curtis Wayne BROWN, Blending Bean BROWN, Ronald Dean BROWN, Harold Lee BROWN, and Robert Dale BROWN, all of the home; four brothers, Jeff, Walter, Roy and Tom WOLFE; and five sisters, Martha FOSTER, Annie WOLFE, Mary GANN, Sarah WOLFE, and Nellie TAYLOR

Services for Sandi Carol BEACH, eight month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Alice) BEACH of Pine Bluff, Ark., were held Tuesday in Stilwell Indian Methodist Church with Rev. Levi FLUTE and Leslie SMITH officiating.
Interment was in Rider Cemetery.
Born May 21, at Pawnee, the child died Saturday in Jefferson County Hospital in Pine Bluff.
The parents are former Stilwell residents.
Survivors include her parents and a sister, Marilyn KELLY, all of the home; her grandparents, Joe SCOTT and Myrtle BEACH, both of Stilwell and Mr. and Mrs. Edward SEBER of Muskogee; her great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Alice) SPINKS of Muskogee and Jimmy SEBER of Jenks.

SANDERS

Mrs. Dora SANDERS, 102 year old Adair County resident,died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, Stilwell, following a long illness.
Mrs. Sanders, born January 7,1878 in Pontiac, Mich., had lived in Adair County for many years.
Survivors include: two sisters, Polly Willis, Warner, and Edna Edgemon, Visalia, Calif.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville with Bro. C.E. DOYLE officiating.
Interment will be in the Westville Cemetery.

Vol "Pete" HAWS, 72, a resident of Oklahoma City, died December 20 at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
HAWS was born in Lincoln, Ark., December 14, 1907.
He is survived by a daughter, Patsy ADNEY, Oklahoma City; a son, Jimmy of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Lucille SUTTER, Abilene, Texas, Ola Marie COPELAND, Midland, Texas; and two grandchildren, Roger and Tawnie ADNEY.
Services were held Saturday, December 22 at Guardian Midtown Chapel.
Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery.

CLAY

George William Wesley CLAY, 66 year old Westville resident, died Friday, January 18 in the Veteran's Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. CLAY, born September 15, 1913 in Arkansas is survived by his wife, Sidni of Westville; two daughters, Andrea KERR of Torrance, Calif., and Gwen PIERCE of Seal Beach, Calif.; his father of Oilton; two sisters, Barbara MATLOCK of Big Piney, Wyo., Odie CARTER, Mannford; two brothers, Eugene CLAY of Fargo, and Alvin CLAY of Tulsa; one step-daughter, Estelle LAWMASTER of Westville; and one stepson, Russell HAYMAN of Barnsdall. Also 13 grandchildren.
Services were held Monday January 21 in Roberts Chapel with interment in the Westville Cemetery.

Services for Joe LOWREY, 80, who died January 21 at Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, were held Saturday at the Rock Fence Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy HENSON of Sallisaw and Bro. John DANNERS of Westville officiating.
The Roberts Funeral Home was in charge of interment in the Rock Fence Cemetery. LOWREY, born May 22, 1899 in Indian Territory, is survived by: three daughters, Eunice Carol JOHNSON, Gladys Marie BROWN, and Carol Diane CAIN, all of Westville; two sons, Charley LOWREY, Edgar Springs, Mo., and Jimmy Dale LOWREY, Westville; one brother, Ned LOWREY, Moody; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Miss Janana TYNER, 92, a former resident of Stilwell, died Monday at her home in Vinita following a long illness.
Miss TYNER, born February 9, 1887, in Stilwell, had lived near Vinita since 1904.
She was a member of the First united Methodist Church in Vinita.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Sue STEWARD, Coolidge, Arizona; five nephews and one niece.
Services were set for 10 a.m. today (Thursday) in the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel in Vinita with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Vinita.

THOMPSON

Leonard Leon THOMPSON, 64, a resident of Adair County, died Sunday in Memorial Hospital, Stilwell.
Thompson, born February 28, 1915 in Oklahoma, was a retired employee of General Motors Corp. in Detroit, Michigan.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Mary THOMPSON of the home on Route 3 Stilwell; one son, Leonard J. THOMPSON, Muskogee; one brother, Joe THOMPSON, Newport, R.I.; two daughters, Mary LARGE, Tulsa, and Sallie GOODWIN, Newark, Calif.; two sisters, Ola HOLLAND and Oma PATTON, both of Stilwell; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with interment in the Stilwell City Cemetery.
