William Henry Largent was born to William T. Largent and Mary Ann (Bryant) Largent on Jan. 10, 1894 being 28 years, 10 months and 13 days of age at time of his death.

He was united in Marriage to Miss Josie Walker at Eufaula, Ok. December 9, 1917 and to this union was born three children, one passing away several years ago. Mr. & Mrs. Largent moved to Checotah about 7 years ago and until recently Mr. Largent was one of the owners of the Central Garage in this city.

Deceased leaves to mourn his loss an aged mother, seven brothers and four sisters, besides the heartbroken wife and two small children.

Henry was a big hearted, whole souled fellow and had a large following of friends in Checotah.

He was a member of Checotah Lodge A. F. & A. M.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. E.A. Spiller. The Masonic fraternity conducted their beautiful ritualistic services at the Twin Grove cemetery east of the city where the remains were tenderly laid to rest.
