Evert T. Grose was born Oct. 29, 1915 at Bower to Joe and Mary Sizemore. Grose married Mildred McKee on Dec. 24, 1940 at Fayetteville, AR, and passed away Wednesday Jan. 3, 2001 in Muskogee. Services were held Jan. 6 at Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church followed by burial at Triplett Cemetery under the direction of Black's Funeral Home.
Survivors include three sons, Joe and John Grose of Texanna and Gene Groseclose and wife Kathy of Bentonville, AR; two grandchildren, Fletcher and Van Groseclose.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two sisters, Vinita and Betty; and two brothers, Ed and Eudie.
