In Muskogee, Oklahoma on April 24th, 1941 Frank Price Graves, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and faithful friend was born to proud parents, Otis and Jeffie "Jackie" Graves.        

He received his education at Rentiesville High School and Langston University. He later enlisted in the United States Air Force. In 1966, Frank married Miss Dorothy Mohan and two daughters were born. After his honorable discharge, he began his employment with the United States Postal Service where he faithfully performed his duties for thirty-five years until his retirement. Accepting the Lord as his personal savior, Frank recently became a member of the First Baptist Church of Summit.

On August 22nd, the Lord saw Frank had fought a good fight and extended his hand to welcome him into heaven's eternal peace.

Those he leaves to celebrate his life include his wife, Dorothy Graves, two daughters, Patrice Burnett, Las Vegas, NV and Arlene Graves, Los Angeles, CA, two granddaughters, Katawna Burnett, Las Vegas, NV and Pamela Burnett, Los Angeles, CA, one great-grandson, Caleb McMath, Las Vegas, NV, one sister, Anita Upshaw, Muskogee, OK, one brother, Otis Graves, Rentiesville, OK, two goddaughters, Dee Braxton and Shawnquail Dunlap, both of Los Angeles, CA and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends.

The going home service for Frank will be held Saturday, August 25th, 2012, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Summit with Rev. Charles Moore, officiating.

He will be laid to rest with military honors in Honey Springs Cemetery, Rentiesville.

Visitation hours are today from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Ragsdale Funeral Center.
