Earl Shatswell a resident of Henryetta passed this life on June 8, 2021 in Henryetta at the age of 85.
Born September 29, 1935 in Hanna, Ok to Joseph and Mary (Pierce) Shatswell. Earl married Mary Payne on February 13, 1953 in Henryetta. He retired as a master sergeant with the US Air Force after 20 years of service and then worked as a auto mechanic. He is a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Siblings: Eli, Billy, Thomas, Jeryl, Harley, James, Rashie, Coubis, Felix and Oneta.
Survived by his wife Mary Shatswell of the home Children: Marilyn Shatswell of McAlester; Pamela Lone of Purcell; Diane Carter and husband Carroll of Henryetta: Earl Shatswell Jr and wife Barbara of Dewar: Son In law, Nolan Shcokley of Henryetta 8 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Dewar First Baptist Church.
Interment will be at the Hanna Cemetery with full Military Honors. Services are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are: Chris Guynes, Jeremy Shatswell, Adam Ammann, Andy
Ammann, Josh Lone and Dan Threlkeld. Honorary Pallbeares: Bradley
Guynes, Nolan Shockley and Jaron Shatswell.
