Funeral services for Elizabeth Walker, 87, were held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Greenlawn Cemetery Pavilion with Reverend Efton Glover, officiating. Committal prayers and Interment followed with Kevin Bataille, Dan Poe, Austin Sollars, & Charles Bataille serving as Honorary Casket Bearers.

Elizabeth Lorene Wiley was born on Sunday, February 19, 1922 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Latimer and Lida Smoot Wiley and died Sunday, November 22, 2009 in El Reno, Oklahoma.

She grew up in Stigler where she received her education, graduating from Stigler High School. After graduation, she attended Nursing School. She worked as an L.P.N. at Checotah Hospital.

Lorene met, fell in love and married Lee Otis Walker onPreceding her in death were her Parents; Husband, Lee Otis Walker; two Brothers, Clifton and John Wiley and one Sister, Faye Summer.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Wiley Poe and his wife Marietta of El Reno, Linda McAlister, of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Kevin Bataille, Karma Bataille-Hammond and her husband Greg, Dan Poe, Jeff Poe, Misty Reznicek and her husband Paul; Step-grandson, Robert Butler; sixteen Great-grandchildren, Taylor Christian, Charles Bataille, Kylie Bataille, Alixandra Bataille, Christina Bataille, Kristen Poe, Lauren Poe, Madison & Angel Gienapp, Zachary Poe, Armelia Poe, Danielle Poe, Sierra Poe, & Bryce Poe; Austin Sollars, & Jordon Reznicek; one Sister, Ila Mae Tarr, & one Brother Huel Wiley, many nieces, nephews, other extended family and a host of friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Sebastian of Baptist Hospital, Oklahoma City, Ranchwood Nursing Home, & Crossroads Hospice for their loving care.

Her care and services were entrusted to Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
