Born August 11, 1931 in Okmulgee to Agnes and Estel Dill. She was a long time member of Nicoma Park Christian Church, enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty married Floyd Taber of Wainwright on November 22, 1947.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, her parents, her brother RJ, and her sister Bonnie.
Betty is survived by her two brothers, James and Eugene, her children, daughter Phyllis and husband Ray Love, daughter Carolyn and husband Frank Allen, and son Michael and wife Tanya Taber, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and many, many friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home with interment at 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to American Diabetes Association or Breast Cancer Centers of Oklahoma.
