Roy Savers was born April 11, 1912 at Jackson, MO to John and Emma (Lowes) Savers, married Bernice Keller on Sep 22, 1946 at Jackson, and died Jan. 7, 2001.

Services were Jan 10, in the Kelley Memorial Chapel of Black's Funeral Home, Eufaula followed by burial at Greenlawn, Cemetery, Checotah.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Barbara White of Eufaula; a niece, Carolyn Moore of St. Charles, MO; three nephews, Frankie Shirrell of Farmington, MO, Roy Gene Shirrell of Alton, IL and Ed Shirrell of House Springs, MO; a granddaughter, Mary Lynne Doleys of Stokey, IL.

His parents; a brother, Earl Savers and a sister, Mildred Lagrand, preceded him in death.
