He was born April 6, 1933 in Panola County, Texas. William loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding his 4 wheeler around his place. He also loved to watch wrestling, dance and he was of the baptist faith.
William is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn Carol LeFlore, and all of his siblings.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his son Rickie James Rodgers and daughter-in-law Karen of Cloudy, grandchildren Dekoda James Rodgers and Starla Kay Rodgers both of Texas, as well as great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.
Interment will follow at the Wright City Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.
