Mrs. Thomas was born July 4, 1928 near Haworth, OK, to Harve & Essie Ryan. She served two terms as City Clerk of Idabel, OK, and was as member of the Church of Christ. Rosemary was a loving mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren cherished her. She was a part of a large extended family and loved to quilt, play cards, and was an avid reader.
Survivors include children, Susan Baxter Reichmann and Randy Joe Thomas; her sisters, Junella Keeney, Martha Sue Tucker, LuCinda Rhoden and husband, Ira, and Judith Ann Carson; her grandchildren, Melissa Gillette and husband, Seb, Amy Caraway and husband, Victor, Dee Dee Townsend, Christi Baxter, and Courtney Cannon and husband, Brandon; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, D.D. “Jack” Thomas, daughter, Sonda Jean Farmer, brothers, Reland Ryan and Jimmy Ryan, and her second husband, Wayne Cline.
Visitation for Rosemary (Ryan) Thomas will take place on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK with graveside services at Redland Cemetery in the Redland Community of McCurtain County, OK on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Aubrey Thompson & Vic Caraway officiating.
