Junella"June" Keeney, passed from this life on October 10, 2020 in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Aunt Junella, as she was affectionately known to many, was 88 years old, born April 25, 1932 in Willow Springs, Oklahoma to parents Harve J and Essie (Pitt) Ryan. June was a Christian woman and a member of the Church of Christ.

June loved to travel and was always ready for that next adventure. Her greatest joy was being able to help others. She cherished her large family, being one of 9 children. Some of her favorite stories was about her sisters and brothers growing up. Family Christmas, campout, and quilting’s were look forward to with great anticipation. The cards were always out, and the challenge was on with ‘Hand and Foot.’ Above all else, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

June was preceded in death by her father and mother; husband: Bill Keeney; daughter and son: Marion Sullivan and Bobby Keeney; sisters: Ruth Stidham, Rosemary Thomas, Rachel Stephens, and Martha Tucker; and brothers: Reland Ryan and Jimmy Ryan.

She is survived by: 3 daughters and 1 one son and numerous grandchildren: June Jackson and husband Denny of Goodwater, OK Denny Joe Jackson and wife Kayla of Forman, AR Brady and Lucy Jackson Sarah Bishop and husband Josh of Haworth, OK Boone Bishop Sally Hall of Van Alstyne, TX Joshua Gafford and wife Britany of Van Alstyne, TX Roni-Ann and Jeremiah James (JJ) Gafford Jenny Cate Gafford Jennifer Nelson of Antlers, OK Griffin and Spenser Nelson Jason Keeney of Antlers, OK (daughters of Marion Sullivan) Kimberly and Candy Sullivan of New Jersey (daughter of Bobby Keeney) Jimmie Lynn Short of Idabel, OK Taylor, Ruger, and Tinsley Short 2 sisters: Judy Carson of Hugo, OK Cindy Rhoden and Husband Ira of Durant, OK Along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside Services will be held at Redland Cemetery in Haworth, Oklahoma, Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 2pm.

Family night will be held at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel in Antlers, Oklahoma, Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 6pm-8pm. Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
