Funeral services for Ken Douglas Payne, Sr., 65, of Idabel, OK, were held Monday, February 2nd, at the Jim Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Idabel.
 

He was born April 5, 1938, in Hastings, OK, to Paul, Sr. and Bonnie Payne, and died Thursday, January 29, 2004, in Idabel.
 

Moving from Hastings, Mr. Payne had lived in Idabel for 35 years.
 

He was retired Southwestern Bell Telephone repairman and also known by family and friends as Santa. He truly loved and adored his family.
 

He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife Margaret, and two sisters, Virginia Payne McKeel and Ruth Payne Staats.
 

Survivors include five sons: Stanley Farley, Broken Bow, OK, Roy Farley, Ken Douglas Payne, Jr. and Jimmy Ray Payne, Sr., all of Idabel and Lanny B. Payne, Denton, TX; two daughters, Terry Lynn Johnson, Heath, TX, and Tammu Luper, Garvin, OK; three brothers, Paul Payne of Roosevelt, UT; and a sister, Gloria Person of Hastings, OK; 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
 

Interment was at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Idabel.
