Harley Wilson MCDONALD
Feb. 19, 1917 - Sept. 6, 2002
Harley Wilson, passed away Sept. 6th after a long illness. He was born in Battiest, Okla. on Feb. 19, 1917. He was 85 years old.
He worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years, where he served as Vice President of the Postal Workers Union. He was a member of the Indian Temple Masonic Lodge in McAlester, OK.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle McDonald; three sons, Jerry McDonald and his wife Barbara, Kenneth McDonald and his wife Norma, and Steve McDonald and his; wife Betty; two daughters, Barbara Kolpin and Linda Rodriguez and her husband Tony; one brother, David McDonald; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
His passion in life was to go to his land in the Kiamichi Mountains to hunt and fish. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 9, 2002 at Vondel L. Smith Mortuaries South Colonial Chapel.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at Battiest Cemetery, Battiest OK.
